9 weeks

9w1
After my hot date with Bob yesterday wearing one of my new shirts from Old Navy... so cute and comfy! We saw The Vow, which I had to force Bob to see, but I let him pick the restaurant for dinner. He picked Hibachi, so it was a win-win kinda day for me ;) We also did some furniture shopping, because we had to take full advantage of our baby sitter {thanks Grammy!} And what's a hot Valentine's date without shopping for a new sectional? I know, right? Hotttt.

Okay, so for some reason, my morning sickness has been pretty terrible this pregnancy. I've felt sick since a few days before my positive test. {So not fair!} I did have some m/s with both other kiddos, and it's always just been constant nausea {never any puking... I'm not a puker. I think I've thrown up maybe 5 times my entire life. Including that one time in college.}

Anyway, with both other kiddos, I felt magically better at 10 weeks. Seriously, the day I hit 10 weeks I was ready to party {or just eat normally... same thing.} I was crossing all my crossables that the same thing would happen this time. Bob and I even had a countdown going {3 more weeks of this. 2 more weeks. 1 more week- said yesterday as Bob had to force me off the couches in the furniture store.}

This morning? Energy. I feel like myself. I work from home today and I had my entire first floor cleaned before Bob and the kiddos even left the house. I haven't felt like this in 2012 at all. It's wonderful. I really hope that this energy is here to stay and that the m/s doesn't come back in full force. {Oh please, please stay away.}

I'll keep you posted.

Pregnancy:
9 weeks {belly pic taken at 9w0d}

Weight Gain: -3 pounds

Sleep: I fell asleep at 6pm on Saturday night. Need I say more?

Gender: We're team green, so we'll find out in September!

Names: More to come on this!

Feeling: Magically better today :::knocks on wood:::

Health: My doctor is already concerned about my blood pressure. It was fine at my prenatal appointment last week, but it steadily increases as the pregnancy progresses and since I'm due in early September, she's concerned that the heat will only make it worse. {I had pre-e with Carter- born in July- and I was induced 2 weeks early because of it.} So basically we'll just monitor it closely.

And, due to my monster babies, I have my first glucose test next week. Awesome right? Don't be jealous that I get to do the GD test not once, but twice. I had to do it twice with Brynn as well. While I didn't have GD with either baby, my OB gives the glucose test in both 1st and 2nd trimesters if you have a baby {ahem, or two} over 9 pounds.

Movement: Yeah right. Maybe next month.

Belly: See above. Insane. Though I think it's smaller than my 9w picture with Brynn! Losing 30 pounds might account for that though. ;)

Next Appointment: Thursday, February 23rd at 10w4d. It's my very first OB appt, so I'll likely get a mini ultrasound {just with the travel machine, but I'll take it!} I am so nervous for some reason. I know we already saw a heartbeat and I keep trying to remind myself that there's a 95% chance that everything is fine and we'll see a heartbeat again next week. But I can't help but be super nervous about it. Oh, and of course, my glucose test is this appointment as well. Fun.

Look at you cutie! Love that color on you. I want that shirt :)
And sounds like you have wonderful pregnancies!! I'm so jealous. If I had pregnancies like yours... I would have like 10 kids. Okay, no I wouldn't. But I'd have more than what we will probably end up having. I get SO sick. Like... puking 10 times a day for the first 20 weeks, lose 15lbs, get hooked up to IV. That kind of sick. It totally sucks. Blah. But... I get some wonderful kiddos out of it, so... it's worth it! :)

How cute are yo, Mama?

I love your shirt. I have the same style in a melon color and it doesn't look nearly as cute on me.

Love it!

Glad you're starting to feel better! With this pregnancy for me, I started feeling better around that time as well!! I hear ya on being exhausted. In my 2nd trimester, I had a burst of energy then now that I'm almost 31 weeks I'm always tired! Crazy how pregnancy works haha! Can't wait to follow you during your pregnancy journey :)
