26 weeks!

Shirt: Old Navy | Jeans: Pea in the Pod | Belt: Target

So, how about that belleh, eh? I feel like it's grown so much over the past week.  Maybe I'm just going crazy {it's quite possible} but it does look and feel much bigger. One more week until 3rd trimester!!!

Last week was kinda crazy and it definitely took a toll on my pregnant body {ohhhh, the swelling!} I will have a separate post all about my wonderful trip to LA, but let me just say...  the security at both Philly and LAX as well as the flight attendants and desk attendants for US Airways were AMAZING to me.

As soon as I arrived at the airport, the TSA workers were smiling at me, asking me when I was due, what we were having, if I needed a golf cart ride to my gate, etc. I couldn't believe it.  I was so confused at first {like, "why are these people smiling at me... oh riiight, they probably think I'm about to deliver at any moment"} but they really were sweet.  I assured them that I was just fine and walked to my gate.  There are many people more deserving of a ride, especially when I'm fully capable of walking.

When I arrived at my gate, I took a seat and waited for "zone 3" to begin boarding the plane.  As soon as I sat down, the desk attendant for US Airways ran over to me and asked me if I required early boarding {like before the handicapped and families with small children.}  Huh?  Again, I was confused but then I remembered how pregnant I looked and politely declined. I'm fine... really.  There are people that really need the benefits of early boarding and I'm not one of them.

Of course, if they would of given me a free upgrade to first class, now that I would have accepted.

In all honesty though, I did think it was really thoughtful that both airports and the airline looked out for me and made sure that I was okay and taken care of.  It was certainly unexpected and very much appreciated :)

Pregnancy: 26 weeks {and, um... less than 100 days to go!!!}

Weight Gain: 15 pounds

Sleep: I was up until 1:30am last night because I couldn't fall back asleep.  I hate that. Damn you, pregsomnia.

Gender: We're team green, so we'll find out in September!

Names: Reid Joseph or Emerson Mae {see the name post here!}

Feeling: So the severe sharp pains I've been feeling on my left side {that I discussed last week} is apparently a twisted rib {did you even know that was possible??  It is... and just an FYI?  It sucks.} I've never experienced this before but OUCH.  While it's feeling a little better than last week, it still hurts immensely when I get up the wrong way, sneeze, cough or, you know... do anything that requires movement.

Health:  My swelling was terrible on Thursday and Friday of last week after my trip.  Terrible.  Thankfully it went down a lot by Saturday morning, but I can still feel the tingling in my toes.  My BP also felt high both of those days as well and I'm sure it's a direct result of my 5 hour flight just hours earlier.  I think it's official... this mama is done flying until after this baby arrives {:::sobs::: good bye fully-paid trip to Toronto, Canada in July.}

Movement: While I still adore feeling him/her move... it's starting to become a little uncomfortable {especially with my twisted ribs... ouch!}  But I know just how crazy this baby will become over the next few months, so I'll just shut my mouth and enjoy his/her responds to my pokes :)

Belly: Measuring about 2 weeks ahead right now, still no linea negra and my belly button has been out for awhile.

Here's my "standard" shot for 26 weeks...

I know I look like a bum, but it was a total "lay by the pool" day and I will continue to do that every weekend until Labor Day {literally} so you may see a lot of pictures like this over the next 3 months or so ;)

And just because I thought it was cute... I got a little sun burned {oops} laying by the pool, but you know what didn't get burned!?!  The top of my left arm where there is an adorable little Brynnie hand print.  I guess she grabbed my arm for support while I rubbed in her suntan lotion yesterday.  I love it =)

High five! ;)

And for belly comparison, here's my 26 week belly with Brynn!

Next Appointment: OB, Glucose Tolerance Test {again} & Ultrasound: Friday, June 22nd at 27w5d
