14 Weeks

14w
Shirt: Old Navy | Jeans: GAP

Let me break it down for you... my kids? Have more of a social life than I do.

This past weekend was spent at birthday parties and since Bob and my father-in-law started on our family room renovation, I was riding solo. A pregnant mama with two excited toddlers ready to take over Bounce U and Chuck E Cheese like they owned the place? Not a good combo.

All I have to say is, thank GAWD for my parents... my dad came with me on Saturday and followed Brynn around from bounce house to bounce house while I chased Carter. Though I may or may not have gone through the obstacle course with both kids. Then Sunday, my mom danced her butt off with Miss Brynn {oh the awesomeness of her doing the Cupid Shuffle, I almost died of the cute} while I played skee ball and the rest of the games with Carter Man. The kids had a blast, but I was left feeling so exhausted. Such a long weekend... I was thankful for Monday.

And I'll be making another post about the family/laundry room reno project going on, but so far so good there! Hopefully our house will only be a disaster for a week or two {unlike last years bathroom reno.} Fingers crossed for a smooth sailing project {which is highly unlikely in our house.}

Pregnancy: 14 weeks

Weight Gain: -1 pound

Sleep: I'm so tired by like 7pm every night and usually fall asleep before the kids!

Gender: We're team green, so we'll find out in September!

Names: I promise this post will be SOON!

Feeling: Really great! Just tired from this weekend, which consisted of about zero breaks.

Health: BP feels good, I passed my first glucose test, so no more disgusting drink until 24 weeks, woot! Overall still great, but I can't live without Zantac and Tums.

Movement: Feeling the baby a few times a day and he/she is getting stronger. I love it!

Belly: So I didn't get a single stretch mark with Carter and I made it all the way to 36w with Brynn before seeing a single one. Now I feel like I can see them starting to pop up again already. I guess once you get them, it's a little easier to have them again?? I have no idea. I don't really care, but I do see light stretch marks popping back up. Oh and my belly button is getting ready to pop any day now!

For belly comparison, here's my 14 week belly with Brynn!

Next Appointment: OB: Next Thursday, March 29th at 15w4d | Ultrasound: Monday, April 16th at 18w1d

What??? You're feeling the baby move already?! That's awesome! I didn't feel it with either of mine until close to 20 weeks. And I hear ya about the stretch marks. I made it until 38wks with Bennett before getting any, but then BAM there they all were. It sucks. And this pregnancy?? I noticed them popping out around 24wks and they've gotten worse and I'm pretty sure there are many new ones. Darn it!
Ah well... we love our babies so it's worth it :)
