Take it off Mon, er... Tuesday

I'm going to be honest.  I was really frustrated this week.  I was so good and 100% on plan ALL week and ended up with ZERO loss.

I'm a daily weigher {bad, I know} and I saw the number on the scale change daily.  It was fluctuating as high as +2 pounds at one point. I mean, seriously!?!?! By Thursday morning, I was getting really angry.  I mean how can I gain two pounds after staying on plan??  I even shared my frustrations with some of my fellow Medifast bloggers who were trying to keep me motivated and focused on the main goal.

By Friday morning?  I had my answer.  I got my effing period.  I'm about to get a little TMI here, but these days I have no idea when to even expect good ol' Aunt Flo. I went from delivering a baby, to breastfeeding, to quitting breastfeeding, to having surgery, to losing my dad, to losing my puppy, to starting a new diet with Medifast.

For real?

My body hates me right now.

So I think that explains why my weight was fluctuating so much all week after staying on plan.  But I'm happy to report that by Monday mornings "official" weigh-in, I was back down to my normal weight and I didn't gain or lose this week.

Is it sad that I'm happy about not losing?  I mean, in a way, I feel like I lost 2 pounds.

But not really.

How is everyone else doing on their diet plans this week?  I'd love to hear from you and/or have you share a link to your most recent post!

Have you been exercising too? Everyone keeps telling me not to focus on the lbs but to focus on inches lost instead! :)

Jenni, maybe add a date night out wearing that new outfit to your 30lb reward! Stay positive, I too am suffering from a hormone-induced setback week. It'll get better!

i know exactly how you feel! im doing weight watchers and the week that aunt flo visits the ladies who weigh us always say that its going to fluctuate up to 4lb+ during that week because you retain more water.
im sharing my progress as well, this is last weeks post as my normal day to post is wednesdays.

Yay for not gaining! And good for you for staying on plan. You know it works for you and the results will come. I lost nothing last week but 1.5 this week. I blogged about it too.

This is totally normal, and it seems more so on MF. I have the same pattern (except bigger, because I have more to drop!).
