Just after I got "the call" from the hospital saying my bed was ready.
It was 4:44am.
I was 39w1d pregnant and 6cm dilated.
The hospital:
All checked in and the Pitocin has been started. Bring it on!

Pitocin contractions are a lot of fun. Time for my epidural. {At 8cm.}
A few hours {an emergency c-section & a natural birth in the room next door} later...time to push!
And {not even} 5 minutes later?My baby was born.
There she is!!!
Is there anything better in the world than meeting your baby for the first time?I think not.

And here we are, a year later. On your very first birthday. We are so lucky to have you in our lives, sweet girl, and you have made this past year so wonderful. You have grown up so fast and our hearts are so filled with love for you!Let's see how much you've grown...
