Y3W | Much to share!

I'm so excited that I don't even know where to begin. I have so much to share with you guys today! Let's see...

1.) Um, we have a working shower in our house! HELLO? Best news ever, right? We don't have walls. We don't have a toilet or sink. And we sure as hell don't have floors. But we have a working shower, damn it. I LOVE IT!

I'm totally in love with this shower head...
2.) It's the Phillies home opener today!!!!! The weather sucks and I'm pretty sure I saw it snowing this morning {IT'S APRIL!} but I'm sure the season will start today no matter what. We have tickets to tomorrow night's game {CLIFFADELPHIA!} but I can't go because...

3.) Tomorrow is Blog with Love! EEEKKK! Thanks to the Philly Tourism Board {come on Philly girls, I know you've seen the "with love, philadelphia xoxo" billboards everywhere.. yep, them} we have VIP passes to go basically anywhere we want in the city. We have a lot on our agenda, including Eastern State Penitentiary, Academy of Natural Sciences, the Mutter Museum {creepy}, the Liberty Bell, National Constitution Center, Magic Gardens, and so much more! And you best believe we'll be going to Chickie's & Pete's. nom nom nom.

4.) Tomorrow morning is our photo session with Steph. I hope the weather holds up and it doesn't rain. I swear it's been raining for like 5 days straight. Stop already!

5.) This is making me happy today. This is something that we've wanted for over a year. This is a 2011 GMC Acadia. And it's ours.
I am so in love with this SUV. It drives like a dream. It's big enough, but doesn't feel like you're driving a Mack truck. It's just... wonderful.

Bob and I were very specific about exactly what we wanted in an SUV, and this has it all. We were then very specific about what we wanted in our particular Acadia and our wonderful dealer found it for us. We told him it had to be black exterior, light grey cloth interior... I'm weird and hate leather seats... have all-wheel drive, a sun roof, captain's chairs in the second row, steering wheel controls, and fog lights.

Yeah, we were just a bit specific. But when you're spending almost $40,000 on a car, you should get exactly what you want, right? It took almost 2 weeks to find it and get it to us, but we have it. It's ours.

This Acadia has so much more than what we originally wanted! It basically has everything you could ever want in a car. {Except the pull-down TV screen for the kids... but I can live without that since they each have their own DVD players anyway- thanks GG & Poppy!} Some of the extra's include: automatic start, rear-view camera, 6 months of On-Star and XM, a sun roof in the front and back seats {which Carter just loves!} and a few other things that I don't care about but Bob seemed impressed with. It so family friendly, so roomy, and just gorgeous! I love it and we're so happy with it. And bonus... we got 0% financing for 60 months. WOOT!

Here's Carter playing in it last night... he kept running from the front to the back. He loves his new car.Whew... I told you I had a lot to share!

PS- I'll be posting the Willvin Giveaway winner soon.... I need to find time to count through the 312 entries!

Have a great weekend everyone!

You guys are awesome!!

Love your new car! Random question, but did you happen to buy it from Pointe Buick GMC in Penns Grove? If you did, my uncle-in-law owns the dealership... small world :)

So jealous of the new car. We are debating on either a Honda Pilot or GMC Arcada. Love yours so you may have helped us with the decision! ;)

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SUV!!!!! Do you know what the difference between the acadia and the acdia denali? (besides price)lol

Thanks everyone!

@ Danielle- Yep! They gave us the beat deal by FAR. Does he work there as well? We worked with someone high up since my uncle's business uses them for everything. I think that helped with the deal too ;)

@ Bobbi- Not much of a difference, really. It has the Denali name, so that means more $$. It has leather seats, TV, navigation, and different rims, trim, etc. Not worth the extra cost to us since we really don't need all that stuff. Maybe we would have got it if we wanted to spend an extra $150-$200/month!

Love the SUV. We looked at those as well, very nice!

Yeah, he works there every day. Kind of short white/gray hair. If you come in where all the new cars are parked he has the first office on the left. He's such a great guy - and I'm glad he could give you the best deal!

And to think I was excited about the shower, lol!

Then I scrolled down and saw your NEW CAR! That is so awesome!

Congrats. Isn't this one that a lot of moms like because it will seat 3 kids but it's not a minivan?

Amazing!!! So excited for you guys.
