Weekend Wrap-Up

Because I do not have the brain power needed to write a clear and well thought-out post after 5 consecutive days off, this will be short{ish}.

1. I had about 72 spelling errors in that first sentence before I fixed it.

2. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! I took some pictures, but they're all on my little Cyber Shot and I only brought my DSLR with me to work today {see below.}

3. Black Friday shopping was a success. There were a lot of great deals out there and most stores had 50% off of everything until noon. But my favorite part was lunch at Maggiano's =)

4. I watched about 92 Christmas movies this weekend. Carter loved Home Alone the best, but Polar Express was his favorite last year and I'm ordering it from Amazon {along with Disney's Christmas Carol} ASAP.

5. I accidentally deleted my favorite video of Brynn cracking up at Bob and Carter from about 1-2 months ago. I am SO upset about it. I swore up and down that I already had it saved on my computer, and since the Flip was full {and I was trying to record Brynn saying "dada"} I deleted it.

Note to self: Check next time, moron.

And, because a post without pictures just isn't fun, here are a few shots from Saturday's house decorating party at my parents {we all get together on the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year and decorate my parents big ol' Victorian for Christmas!}

No matter when we decide to decorate, it's always freezing outside. And don't you just love my dad's soccer ball hat? He dug it out of the coat closet just for the occasion! =)
We all have our jobs: drill man, hook man, stapler man, supervisor {that's my job!}... I guess this year Kacy was the garland man monster.
But usually everyone thinks their the supervisor, so there ends up being "too many chief's and not enough Indians." {You have no idea how many times I heard that saying on Saturday!}

And a few pics from when we were done...
I really love the way the front door turned out!
We did the back and sides of the house too, but I didn't take pictures. I also wish I took a pic of the inside stair railing that I decorated. Sooooo pretty!

And snuggly warm on the inside of the house were all the kiddos.

Never wake a sleeping Carter Man...After juice and fishies, he was a little happier...
The kids in their shirts!
...and the other 47 pictures of them look like this:
Poor Brynn looks scared! That's her "help me" look. But the boys just love her, don't they? :) Don't ask me what Grace is doing.

Hope everyone had a good weekend! Don't forget to join the Weekend Wrap-Up Blog Hop!

I'm glad you had a great holiday weekend and scored some deals.

And you're right. Brynn does look scared in that picture. Brigham has that look a lot when his brother enters the room. You just never know what big brother is gonna do!

Your parents have such a beautiful home! I am so jealous of your family traditions :-( LOL! I wish my sisters and I were as close as you all are! Can you adopt me? LOL!!

@ Erin- We actually went to the Cherry Hill Mall, but seems like you had the same great idea as we did ;)

@ Mol- Yep, that's Brynn's "oh no Carter is coming" look too ;)

@ Larissa- Sure, the more the merrier! Our family wouldn't even notice another person... it's always so crazy! =)

Hmmm, maybe I'll need to do a Home Tour of my parents house! The inside is just as gorgeous. And who doesn't love old houses??? =)
