Y3W

Yep. That's my belly exactly one week before I had Carter. On July 11, 2008, we took an "illegal" trip down to the shore with my family for the weekend after my 37 week doctor's appointment. I was 3cm and 80% at the time and I got a specific warning from the doctor not to leave the area and "don't even think about going down the shore." Ha. Yeah right.

Bob was a bit nervous because the doc said Carter could really come at any time, but I was not about to sit home and wait for him. They have hospital's everywhere... I'm sure we'll be fine =) At this point, due to Carter's size at my 35 week growth u/s {he weighed over 7lbs at that point} they were very concerned with his size and also my blood pressure. At my appointment, they scheduled an induction for July 26th... 4-5 days before my EDD of July 30th-31st. Little did we know... {more to come!}

Here are a few more pictures...
Ben and I in the ocean!
Kristi and I were PG together...And one thing I certainly do not miss about being PG.... my poor feet. I have really skinny feet {about the only skinny thing on me!} and they got really huge when I was PG. I couldn't even find any shoes to where {even my flip flops wouldn't fit!}
Warning: For those that don't like pregnany related posts {and details} this will not be the blog to follow next week. You have been warned ;)

I can't believe Carter is almost one! I remember finding your blog a month or so before you had him. I was only half way through my pregnancy, so I really liked reading about yours, so close to the end. It has already been a whole year, and my little guy only has four months to go! Crazy! Carter is precious and I love reading about what he's up to! Happy early birthday, Carter!

Ha! That is how my feet looked. I have told my DH that I will not be pregnant again in the summer(the temp here in Fresno gets over 100 degrees during the summer)!
