Pro Pics: Part I

I'm breaking the pro pics post up into 2 parts {you'll find out why tomorrow for my Y3W}. Prepare yourselves... long post ahead ;)

As I mentioned on Friday morning, we had pictures taken of our family- but mostly Carter- with Erin Farrell Photography. This is the second time we've had pictures done with Erin, and I love her more and more every time I talk and meet with her! She's so sweet!

If you live in the Philadelphia area, I highly recommend Erin. We met on The Knot back in 2005 {yikes... time goes fast!} because we were both planning our weddings together. We quickly became friends and shared our wedding ideas and advice, which then, of course, turned into marriage and baby talk {she has a little girl, Molly, and a baby BOY on the way!!!} Erin is a fabulous photographer and an even better person. Thank you so much, Erin, for these beautiful pictures. I will cherish them forever.

While we were trying to decide on a location for our pictures, there were a few places that I thought of- the beach, a small park, our home... But then it hit me- Gibraltor Gardens. Bob and I had our wedding pictures taken there by Laura Novak. It's one of the most beautiful locations I have ever seen. There are so many arch ways, stone walls, ponds, grassy fields, old doors, cool stairways, beautiful flowers, fountains- it's a photographers' dream. But my favorite part of Gibraltar is the huge back iron gate. My absolute favorite wedding picture was taken next to that gate- see my side tool bar :) I thought it would be a wonderful spot to head back to now that we have a son. And I plan to take many more family pictures there :)

So, without further ado...

Part II coming tomorrow... yes, there's more! :)
