I have been thinking endlessly about Baby Issac. (It is not recommended that you read this blog at work... trust me.) I can't imagine the strength that it takes to get through something like that. I am not a very religious person, but the faith that they have is inspiring. Their story has been, literally, breaking my heart.

Although I am grateful every minute of the day, I thought I would take this opportunity to reflect on all of the things that I am so very thankful for:

* My wonderful husband, who I have been with for 7 years.
* My beautiful, healthy baby boy, Carter.
* My amazing family: my parents, 2 sisters, 2 brother-in-law's, and my niece and nephew.
* Bob's awesome family.
* My adorable German Shepherd, Kai, and all of his cousins (Jake, Cooper, & Max.)
* My friends and extended family.
* That I was able to get pregnant and carry a baby to full term.
* That my dad is still here with us today and was able to walk all 3 of his girls down the aisle (a story for a different post.)
* That Carter is able to be with his Grammy (MIL) on Monday's and at his G.G.'s daycare with my mom the rest of the week while Bob and I are working.
* That Bob and I both have stable jobs and are able to have a home and the things that we want.
* The wonderful support system that I have gained since becoming pregnant (you girls know who you are.)
* That my sisters are my best friends in the entire world and the fact that we live so close to each other.
* That our families are so very generous.
* My health and the health of my husband and family.

I think I'll stop for now, as I could probably go on all day. Instead, I'll leave you with a quote.

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." -JFK
