Happy Anniversar(ies)!

13 years ago, today, I started dating a handsome guy that could make me laugh more than anyone has before.

8 years ago, today, I married him.



Even now, after all this time, he makes me laugh every single day. He has seen me though the hardest days of my life and has been there for me to celebrate the best ones. I love him and the family we have created together and I can't imagine my life with anyone else.

Today, I just want to thank him for being an amazing husband and father. I am a VERY lucky girl.

An Anniversary. Or two.

12 years ago today, I started dating the man of my dreams.

And 7 years ago today, I married him.

Here's a picture my sister took before we went out to dinner on Saturday night to celebrate!  Love this guy so much {and OMG my belly is totally taking over this picture!}...

It's funny how we've changed through the years.  Our anniversaries used to include a lovely night with a romantic movie, maybe a trip to the winery.  Late night dinner for 2 at our favorite little restaurant where we enjoyed each other's company over great food and drinks.  

But now?  Now it's more like a fast {but very yummy!} dinner with the senior citizens and we'd rather skip out on dessert at the restaurant in exchange for CFA milkshakes and a kid-free trip to Target.

And I wouldn't have it any other way!

Wishing a very happy anniversary to my wonderful husband... what a crazy road it has been and I look forward to celebrating so much more with you!

WW: Lazy Weekend

Not much time to post tonight, so I'll just share a few of my favorite pics from this weekend, in which we did absolutely nothing.  And it was awesome.

Brotherly love at it's finest.  They adore each other and I LOVE it.

Reid's been having a rough time lately {his bottom two front teeth are just about ready to pop through} and he slept like this for an hour and a half on Saturday while I watched a movie.  It was LOVELY.

WW: Cuteness

For Father's Day, I had Carter fill out a questionnaire to give to Bob as part of his gift. We had so much fun doing it and I put down the exact answers that Carter said.  For a few of them he even looked at me like "Ummm, duh mom, daddy's smart because he 'knows how to make presents'... what other possible answers could there be!?!"

So, without further ado, here are Carter's answers.  Enjoy :)

My favorite?  "My papa likes to wear pants."

Y3W | Anniversary. Times two.

10 years ago today, I started dating the man of my dreams and 5 years ago today I married him.

And on this day, 11.11.11, a day that I have thought about for so long in complete awe that we would hit such milestones in our relationship on such an amazing day, I reflect back on the time we've had together.

I can not believe it's been 10 years. We've been together nearly 1/3 of our lives. We've been through so much in that time: falling in love, laughing, crying, fighting, consoling, weddings, babies, vacations. So much. For all the bad times that we've had, there were a million more that were good and I can not imagine spending my life with a better husband. A better father. A better person. Or a better friend.

You can see all of my favorite wedding pics here but below are the ones that I look at so often that I don't know how I'd remember the details of our gorgeous day without them.

And to my husband- happy anniversary honey! I am so lucky to have a man like you as my husband and father of my children. And as we reflect back on all the years that we've had, I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. For our family.
