Take it off Monday: Week 1


So my first week didn't really go as planned. 

Last Monday, I blogged about starting Medifast again and how excited I was to get started- New Year, New Me- yada, yada, yada.  And then 2 hours later?  I ended up with the stomach bug. Yep, that nasty thing that's been going around?  I got it.  And it was terrible. I seriously just started feeling better, like, yesterday.  Ugh.

But you know what you can't do when you have that awful stomach bug?  EAT.  So even though I wasn't really on plan at all last week, I still managed to lose 2 pounds. 

Not sure if they should count towards my weight loss goals or not... but ya know what?  I think I earned them.
Week 1 Summary

Weight loss this week: -2 pounds

Weight loss to date: -2 pounds

Weight left to lose: 28 pounds
First Goal: 10 pounds
  • Reward: Mani/Pedi
Second Goal: 20 pounds
  • Reward: Any ideas??
Final Goal: 30 pounds
  • Reward: Seriously... anything?
Success: Losing 2 pounds despite being sick!

Set-Backs: The stomach bug.  BLAH.
Exercise: No real exercise plan yet, as I have to let my body readjust to the program first.  We'll talk exercise soon, though!

I was going to suggest what Brandi did. Your goal for 30 pounds should be a new dress or outfit. Something exciting to show off all your hard work. Maybe 20 pounds could be a massage or facial or something like that?

uuggghhh, stomach bug, yuck, both hubby and i got it as well, not sure if it will impact my weightloss attempt tho. and for the 30lb reward, what im doing for my big goal, is a pretty new camera bag from epiphanie (its like $165 for the one i want)

Yay for losing 2 lbs this week!!! Probably don't continue on the stomach bug diet, though. I've heard it's not good for you. :-)

Sorry you were sick! My kids and I were too and I also lost 2 pounds and definitely agree we earned them. Though I think mine were from omitting wine. LOL.

I also think a massage would be a great reward...as a matter of fact, that will be my 15 pound reward :-)

I did new jeans for 20lbs. They were much needed by that point! You could do a pair of capris or shorts even?
