Steppin' Out

Although I absolutely LOVE to attend them, I'm happy to announce that wedding season has officially ended in our house! {3 weddings in 4 weekends was a bit much on the ol' wallet.} But we did have a wonderful time on Saturday celebrating the wedding of a good friend of both Bob and I.

Saturday was a gorgeous fall day and Fairmount Park in Philly was perfect setting for this joyous occasion.

First, here's what I wore to this wedding...

Cardigan: The Limited
Dress: White House Black Market
Shoes: Steve Madden

After spending the whole day loving on the kiddos, we had to take them to Bob's parents house for the night, since the wedding didn't even begin until 5:30pm.Carter Man was excited to spend the night with Grammy & P-Pop!

We hit a little traffic on our way {of course... it's Philly} so we ended up having to stand in the back to watch the ceremony.

It was a little cold, but a perfect location, right!?!

He hates me.
After the ceremony, we headed inside the historic Valley Green Inn, which I just LOVE.

Inside was warm, toasty, and intimate. We had a lovely time!

Oh, and guess who was their wedding photographer? STEPH! Love this girl to pieces...
She took a few cute/funny pics of us {one of which I'm saving for my wordless post on Wednesday because it's just that HI-larious.}

Those glasses were sitting on our table. I have no idea either.

And us!

Thanks Steph!

On Sunday, we took advantage of not having any kids and slept in {ahem, until 8am} and then headed out to a quick breakfast for the first time in TWO years!
Sweater: Old Navy
Jeans: Joe's
Boots: Uggs

Wanna know what I ate? Apple Streusel French Toast. And it was pretty much the most fantastic thing I've ever eaten in my life.

After breakfast, we went and picked up the kiddos then headed to my mama's house for a family dinner! Love those!

I did head out to a furniture store with my sisters real quick and we stopped here for lunch...
LOVE the sky in that pic too. GORGEOUS.

And? I got this.
It was perfect. Nom. Just had to throw that in there, because look how good it looks.

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

@ Jill- Thanks love! Yes, I curl the ends myself with a 1" curling iron then kinda flip my head over and shake it out so they're not too ringlet-y if that makes sense!
