LeapFrog Review!

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review the LeapFrog My Own Story Time Pad recently and I can't wait to tell you about it!

As we all know, LeapFrog has a reputation for making excellent learning tools for children, so needless to say, I could not wait to get my hands on this pad for Carter.

When we first opened it, he was so excited. He just couldn't wait to play with "the doggies!" and "the letters!"

The Pad is the perfect size. It's slim, light and easy to slip into any bag to use on the go {which means it's perfect for long trips or appointments, etc.} One cool thing that Carter loved was that it can be personalized with his name and we can even customize "emails" for him to check on his Pad. =)

Carter played with it for over an hour straight {until bed time} and then just had to take it to GG's house the next morning. He especially loved turning the pages of the story and checking his "email." I think this will be a great learning tool for him, especially with sounding out his letters and practicing the alphabet.

Like I mentioned earlier, I loved the size of the Pad and the overall aesthetics... it's adorable to look at and the buttons are clear and easy to use. If I had one complaint, it would probably be the screen. It was a little hard to see {it's not in color} and the overall size of the screen was on the small side. But other than that, I think that it's a great product and I can't wait to see Carter using this as an everyday learning tool!

Thank you to LeapFrog for sponsoring this review. While LeapFrog provided the product to me for this review, the opinions I've expressed here are solely my own and represent my honest point of view.

This product is actually on my 'maybe' list for Christmas shopping this year! Thanks for sharing! My daughter had the Leapfrom Tag system and Violet, and she loves them both!
I too have found that a lot of little kid gadgets have super small screens... wonder why?

Jenni- thanks for the review! My daughter will be 3 in January and loves all things electronic (including our iphones haha). Are the activities on the Pad easy to follow for kids her age?
