TIOM | The one where every decimal counts.

Medifast | Week 17
I'm going to be honest. I'm a bit disappointed today. I worked my ass of this week. My goal was to lose 1 pound. Just one measly pound. Turns out? When you've lost 24 pounds, and your 6 away from your goal, 1 pound is effing hard to lose.

And I'm evidence of that.

This morning I weighed myself desperately hoping to hit the -25 pound mark. Actually? I was way past desperate. I wanted it so bad. So, you can imagine my disappointment when I saw I had only lost .8 lbs this week. I was .2 lbs away from my goal.

I'm heartbroken.

Not because I think Medifast has failed me {by any means.} Not because I didn't work my ass off to lose that .8 lbs, but because I can't really think of what I could have done better to hit my goal. The only thing I can think of, is that it's TOM. But .2lbs? .2 away from 25. I feel so close yet so far away. To lose 25 pounds, just sounds so amazing to me. I can delete the "almost" in my answers to people when they ask me how much I've lost.

Almost
25 pounds.

And let me tell ya... as soon as I saw the number on the scale this morning, I was crushed. I desperately moved the scale all over the floor just hoping that it would change. I just wanted to see it. I wanted to see a number that I haven't seen in a long time. But alas, not today.

I know my time will come. I know it will.

Success: Losing .8 lbs. Never in my life have I worked so hard to lose so little.

Set-Backs: Do you even need to ask? And please tell me I'm not the only one who has moved a scale in order to see a lower number. {Pretty please?}

Jenni, I hear you, but you maintained, and didn't gain or anything, sometimes when you have nothing for a week, the next week you make up for it! Also, for me if I am PMS or something it has much to do with it!!! And please take my advice check TJ's in the Runway Section for the Joe's...I got mine there for $79, they also have an outlet if you have one at your outlets, we have one near us! You have TJ Maxx in NJ right? I just found a pair for Olivia there for $11.99 adorable! Keep up the awesome work, you look great...oh and great new car!

You are definitely not alone-I have totally moved the scale around! I swear the floors are ever so slightly uneven and can affect the scale readout. Lol. Keep up the good work- you'll get there! Don't give up!

Don't get down, Jenni. Summer is such a hard time because the food is so darn good!

Just keep working. You can do it!

You are doing FANTASTIC! Be proud of that 0.8 loss!! You LOST and that is what matters. I have been working on losing weight since January and have lost 38 lbs. I stayed the same weight and lost about 2 pounds for the past 6-8 weeks. I finally started exercising a little bit more (walking/running 4 days last week). I was shocked to have lost 4lbs in the past week.

I'm not saying this to brag, I'm trying to give you hope. Take it from someone who moves the scale around EVERY TIME I weigh just to see if it will go lower! ;) Keep up the great work!
