Medifast | Week 14
This week was both good and bad. Good in that I lost a pound and I'm one step closer to my goal. But bad in that I ate horribly this weekend. Like, just awful.
I started off great on Saturday morning with my Medifast chocolate chip pancakes {that I make into a muffin... nom nom nom} but I was running around like a crazy person all morning and I only ate 1/2 of it. Not a smart move. That kinda set the tone for the rest of the day.
I headed off for a pedicure, and totally forgot my mid-morning snack. I then had to run to the store to pick up a few things that we needed for the kiddos to spend the night at their GG & Poppy's house, so at this point? I was way past starving. Famished may be a better word. And what do you do when you only eat 1/2 of your Medifast breakfast, skip your mid-morning snack and then reach the point of starvation? You make bad choices. And I did. I made an awful choice. I had a cheeseburger for lunch. I felt so guilty about it that I immediately texted Kelly and told her what I did.
I wasn't going to share that with you guys, but I promised to always be 100% honest with you. As everyone knows, dieting is HARD. And you're not going to be smart all the time. You're going to be faced with hard choices. If I had stuck to the plan and ate my breakfast and snack, then I KNOW I would have ordered a salad instead. But life is crazy and it's busy, and I made a bad decision. Moving on...
Bob and I had a wedding on Saturday night. I did pretty well there as far as the diet goes. I ate half of my steak and veggies for dinner. I did have a few apps during cocktail hour... lots of veggies, a mini chicken egg roll {okay, again, not the best decision but when they say "mini"... they meant it} and a little bruschetta. I did drink at the wedding, but I also danced the night away {Brianna, we are rock stars on the dance floor} so I think it all evens out.
No? It doesn't even out?

We stayed until the very end =)
Thanks GG & Poppy for watching the babies!
So there you have it. A great week but a not-so-great weekend for the diet. Sunday was a little better and I did head out for a lovely walk with Bob and the babies last night. Here I am, strollin' with my homies. {You know I'm funny, Bob.}My goal for this upcoming week? Lose 2 pounds. I want to be at -25lbs. Like, yesterday.

Love the dress, you look great!
I did the Shred religiously...uh, for like 8 days. But that was months ago. I've been promising myself I'll get back into it, but just have no motivation to do it. I don't know what my problem is either!
