Y3W | Down Twenty Pounds

{Taken this morning. No, I'm not wearing make-up. Yes, I dress like that for work.}
Never.

Never in all my life did I think I would be at this weight again. But here I am. 20 pounds lighter than I was just 2 months ago when I began this weight loss journey with Medifast.

Twenty pounds. Let's just let that soak in for a second.

Obviously, I was excited to reach my second weight loss goal yesterday. When I began this journey wanting to lose 30 pounds, I thought it sounded like a dream. An overwhelming dream. I remember thinking "Is 30 pounds even a realistic goal for me?" Honestly? That's like losing a toddler.

But instead of getting down about it, I decided to stay positive. I just wanted to take it 10lbs at a time. Just 10 pounds. Sounds much better, doesn't it? Much more achievable.

And here I am, 2/3 through this "10 pounds at a time" journey. It's becoming real. Now? I only have 10 pounds to go. Just 10 pounds until I reach my final goal. Wow. That is crazy.

I am excited. I am proud of myself for doing this and sticking with it. I am happy that I am getting healthy. I feel wonderful. Gone are the compliments like "you look good... for having two kids." Those compliments? They have been replaced with "you look good." Period.

And that's exactly what I wanted.

Thank you so much for sticking with me through this everyone. I'm completely serious when I say that you have helped me more than you know. You've made me feel accountable. To stick with it even when I wanted to order that cheeseburger {with extra large fries, of course.} To skip that 2nd glass of wine. {That? I probably haven't been doing. What?}

Seriously. From the bottom of my heart- thank you.

These jeans? Well, they'll be mine soon. I just may have to wait until after Brynn's 1st birthday party to actually order them. {Or else some poor kid won't get a party favor.}

Happy Mother's Day!! =)

20 lbs in 2 months is amazing! You & the other Medifast girls are really motivating me to lose weight after this baby. I just hope I can keep that motivation going.

You look AWESOME, and should be very proud of yourself!!!!
I just ordered Medifast for me today. I only got the 2 week package. Thought maybe I'd give it a try to see if I can lose 10 lbs within the next month. I'm a small girl already (112lbs) but I CAN'T. STOP. EATING. FOOD!!!!!! Even if I tell myself to not eat this, or not eat that, I find myself munching on the bad stuff anyway. So, I hope I can stick to the Medifast!!!!!!
