Take it off Monday | Week 3

Medifast | Week 3
Okay, I'm just going to come out and say it because I'm so freakin excited...

I lost 4 lbs this week!

Although this was a great week for me, there were still plenty of challenges. Getting a salad at Wendy's when all you want is 2 orders of chicken nuggets, a junior bacon cheeseburger, and an order of XL french fries {do they even sell them?} is really no fun at all. And I won't sit here and tell you that I didn't take bites of french fries when Carter fed them to me {or steal a bite or two of Bob's frosty.... damn them!} But I still did awesome with my salad and bottled water =)

Oh, and there was also Qdoba at work lunch meeting on Friday. Qdoba. One of my favorite places to eat {which is why I ordered it for my lunch meeting ;} I did pretty well though, making a salad from the chicken, steak, lettuce, pico de gallo, salsa, and a little sour cream and guac. Mmmm. I used this as my lean & green meal for the day and had my soup for dinner.

There was also a birthday party on Saturday with pizza. Pizza. Whew... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Medifast has been wonderful to me and it really is so easy to follow. I hate to quote Jake & the Neverland Pirates {& Carter} here but you just "grab 'em and go"... which makes it much more convenient {<- a word I can't spell correctly and butcher so bad that I have to type it several times before spell check even recognizes it} than other diet plans. The average day for me looks something like this...

Breakfast:
Chocolate Chip Pancakes {but made into a muffin! Mmmm}
Snack: Chocolate Shake
Lunch: Chicken Soup with Garden Vegetable Crackers
Snack: Peanut Butter Crunch Bar
Dinner: Lean & Green- usually whatever meat and vegetables that everyone else is having for dinner. I skip the carbs {my favorite part} and eat smaller portions.
Snack: Brownie. {Ever. Single. Night.}

My favorite Medifast foods:
- Scrambled Eggs
- PB Crunch Bar / Oatmeal Raisin Bar / Fruit & Nut Bar
- Choc Chip Pancakes {as muffins}
- Chicken Noodle soup {which is what I eat for lunch everyday}
- Garden veggie crackers {and they don't count as a meal, just a snack...mmmm}
- BROWNIES
- Chocolate & Vanilla shakes
