Christmas 2010

Well Christmas has come and gone as fast as it always does. We had a beautiful holiday surrounded by family and friends. And lots of presents. The kids got more toys, clothes, and books then should even be allowed by law. They are so spoiled.

Although we had a wonderful Christmas, it did come with a few surprises. We ran around like crazy people on Christmas Eve morning, trying to get ready for everything. We went out to lunch with my family, then headed back to my parents house to get ready for their annual Christmas Eve party. The party went great, but after helping to clean up, we didn't end up getting out of there until almost 1am. We got home at 1:15am only to find our puppy Kai had gone to the bathroom all over our floor {totally not his fault, by the way... even though he was let out several times throughout the day, we didn't think we'd be home so late. Poor baby.}

So after putting the kids to bed and cleaning up everything {mopping the floors, vaccuming everything, etc.} we didn't get to bed til 2am. Guess who woke up at 4am? Brynn hasn't woken up in the middle of the night for quite sometime, but she decided to get up early for Christmas I guess! Thank God Bob fed her because I literally could not open my eyes.

We were up for the day at 6:30am {6:33 to be exact, but who's counting?} and I ran down stairs to get everything ready for the kids. Coffee- check. Christmas lights- check. Presents- check. Cameras- check. More coffee- check. Did I make the coffee yet?

Christmas day was wonderful. We had gifts from Santa at our house, then went to my in-laws house for breakfast and even more presents. Then headed over to my parents house for dinner and even MORE presents.

When we got home on Christmas night, we were exhausted, but we stayed up a bit so that Carter and Brynn could play with all of their toys. Just as we sat down to finally relax, Bob ran upstairs to the bathroom. Yep- he got the stomach bug that Carter had last week. All day we were looking forward to relaxing and getting a full nights sleep, but it just wasn't in the cards... Bob was up all night throwing up. :(

I know people usually hate December 26th, but I've always loved it. The kids played with their toys all day, and Bob {who was feeling a little better} and I went through all our gifts to see what we got. It was nice to just lay around all day... and we had the perfect excuse since we had a blizzard outside. We did the same thing yesterday too... it was so nice! Movies, toys, and pj's =)

Today we actually do hope to get out of the house. The kids are gonna go hang out with their Grammy and P-Pop while Bob and I use a few gift cards that we got for Christmas. We're off to see "Little Fockers" then do a little shopping and go to dinner at our favorite place in the world, Franklinville Inn. I can't wait!

Okay, so here are more than a few pictures from Christmas this year...

That sucks that Bob got sick, but it still looks like you all had a fabulous Christmas! With all the toys Carter and Brynn got, I think you may have to add on :)

Everything looks and sounds perfect. Except for the whole Brynn getting up at 4:00 a.m. thing. Not so good. But other than that . . . YOUR KIDS ARE SO STINKIN CUTE.

I seriously cannot get over how big and ice blue Brynn's eyes are. Gorgeous.

I can't believe how big Brynn is getting! Before we know it, you'll be planning her 1st birthday (or have you already started?!).

Aww! What great pictures! Looks like your kids were as spoiled as ours! We could barely walk through our living room after we had Christmas with both families. I love the picture of Carter kissing Brynn on the top of the head. What a good big brother :-)
