20 Weeks = Half Baked

Even though I feel that I am over half-baked at this point, hitting the 20 week mark means that it's official. I'm half way through this pregnancy. Or at least I hope I am ;)

Because I'm feeling brave today, perhaps due to the results we received at our level II ultrasound, I'm going to post my bare belly pictures below. Ahhhh.

Be gentle.

Pop goes the belly button...
See the scar I have above my belly button? Yeah, that's from my belly button ring.
Oh, and I think I see my linea nigra coming back! Do you see it? Sheesh... I thought I still had some time before that made an appearance {or should I say, reappearance?}

Pregnancy: 20 weeks {belly pic taken at 20w3d}

Weight Gain: Up 5 total, so far. I'm positive it's way more... so we'll see the exact number at my next appointment.

Sleep: Carter. Oh, Carter Man. Why won't you sleep? Mommy has been sleeping just fine, but you insist on waking up. What is wrong little man? Molars? Nightmares? Whatever it is, I sure do hope that it stops soon. Mommy loves you so very much, but does not want to play at 2am. Or 3am. Or 4am.
xoxo,
A very sleepy mama

Gender: Girl {and it was confirmed again yesterday!} =)

Name: Brynn Sophia

Feeling: I'm feeling really good! Besides the echogenic focus issue, this literally has been the world's easiest pregnancy.

Health: I hate Acid Reflux. I love Zantac.

Movement: She moves so often and is really getting stronger. I was in a meeting the other day and she kicked me and I jumped in my seat. I probably looked like a complete idiot {like I do every day} but I was just so shocked that she could kick me that hard already!

Belly: Belly button is popped, but you can't see it through my shirt yet {see side pic of 33 week belly shot of Carter... now that's POPPED!} No stretch marks yet. And it appears as though I have the start of the linea nigra. I had it with Carter as well, so I was just waiting for it again this time!

Next Appointment: January 20th at 21w4d. I'm looking forward to this appointment, as I have not talked to my actual doctor about the ultrasound results yet. I just really want to hear her take on everything. She has a way with words and I just know she'll make me feel better.
