Y3W

On Wednesday, November 11th {at 11w4d} just after 10am I felt the baby move for the first time. I must admit, I was/am a bit shocked that I would feel the baby this early, I mean I didn't even start feeling flutters with Carter until 15-16w, but I can guarantee you it could have been nothing else. I felt my little peanut. =)

Now I'm sure I felt flutters last week a few times and they were right around when I use to feel Carter all the time... late at night before bed or early in the morning after just waking up, but I chalked it off as something else. I mean, it couldn't possibly be the baby already, right? Wrong!

I read a few articles over the weekend about felling the baby move as a second time mom and every one of them said that it's common to feel the baby a lot earlier this time around, even as soon as late first trimester. I guess I was one of the lucky ones because on Wednesday, just after returning from a meeting, I sat down in my office chair and felt a very faint little kick or bump to my lower belly {well below my belly button.} It felt exactly like it did when Carter would move and I got SO EXCITED! I haven't felt anything since {flutters or movement of any kind} but it was the baby, I am sure of it now...

We have so much to look forward too =)

{That is, of course, until I hit 3rd tri and I'm begging the baby to stop kicking me in my ribs or elbowing me in the middle of the night so I can actually sleep...}
