Joan & Kate plus eigh..., er, two!

Carter and I met up with two of my favorite previous coworkers for dinner last night. It's been 5 years since I worked with Joan and Kate, yet we still find time to talk and have dinner. Love them! We had such a great time, but I miss seeing them on a daily basis. Last night was also the first time that they both got to meet Carter!

Speaking of Carter Man... he was soooo hyper last night! My little crack baby would not sit still. He was talking, laughing, flirting, jumping on me.... He also wanted to get down so he could play on the floor, but that wasn't happening. So I put him on the booth seat instead.

Good times.

My friend, Joan, is such a wonderful person. She is/was like my second mom. I could sit and talk with her for hours... she is just so funny, honest, and the sweetest thing you could ever meet!

My friend, Kate, is 30 weeks PG {31? 32?... I forget!} and she's due on June 29th with a baby girl!! We can't wait to meet her. I hope she has Katie's red hair!I was in Katie's wedding last March when I was 5 months PG. I had to have my dress altered to fit around my surprisingly-big-for-5-months-because-Carter-was-huge belly.Anyway, I'm sad because Kate's baby shower is on May 16th, which just so happens to be the same day as Timmy and Christina's wedding. Why does that happen to me all the time? My friend Kristen's baby shower was on April 18th, which was the same day as Chris and Maureen's wedding so I had to miss that one as well :( Boooo! But that just gives me an excuse to go to their houses and have them and their babies all to myself :)

I had such a wonderful time and I can't wait to do it again! But, maybe next time I'll leave my crazy baby with Bob ;)
