Interesting.

I had my 34 week appt yesterday. My weight looked good (only up a pound since my last appt!) but my blood pressure was kinda high. Especially for me. So I go in the room with the doctor and she proceeds to tell me that there were high levels of glucose in my urine and that she's not sure how I passed my 3-hour GD test. Lovely. She's sending me for bloodwork next week.

We continue the appt with listening for the baby on the doppler. His heart beat sounded great and he kicked the doppler twice. He doesn't like to be bothered with it I guess :) The doc then measures my belly to see how big baby boy is. After she measures it she just says "Hmm." I'm like "what does that mean?"

Wait for it. Wait for it.

Baby boy is measuring 2.5 weeks ahead.

After talking with the doc, she's very concerned b/c Carter is consistently measuring more ahead with every appt. Not only that, but with my glucose levels and high blood pressure, she wants to make sure that everything is okay. She seems to think that we've been using the wrong EDD this entire time. I've been saying that since my first appt.

Anyway, I have a growth ultrasound scheduled for next Friday along with bloodwork. We'll really get to see just now big baby boy really is :) The doc wants to wait for the results before any final decisions are made, but she started talking c-section. We shall see.

I cannot believe you are already 34 weeks. And really, more like 36 1/2 if you are measuring that far ahead! Crazy how time flies.

And FWIW, not that I'm an expert or anything, but it has seemed like you have been ahead of the curve your entire pregnancy. You started showing so early, so it definitely seems like maybe you've been a bit further along the whole time.

Maybe baby boy will be here sooner than expected!!

I hope all truns out well with the GD, and I too have noticed that you have always looked farther along than EDD said. Fingers crossed all comes out well.
